Forensic Structural Engineer
Mohtady specializes in forensic structural investigation and the and design of structures and structural systems, including the rehabilitation and restoration of existing structures. He holds a Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in structural Engineering from Ryerson University and is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario. Mohtady is practiced in the analysis and design of all major structural materials: wood, steel, concrete, and masonry, and possesses sound knowledge of Canadian codes and standards, bridge design code, building codes, material codes and blast-resistant design code. His background also includes experience teaching engineering design and conducting research and experimental work at Ryerson University.
